I picked-up lamb and beef for the year (hopefully the year!).
I have been enjoying giant steaks and gigantic bone-in brisket!!!
About 2-3 times a year, I drive between a 1/2 hour and 1-1/2 hours to pick up food for the YEAR!!!! This newly discovered system has brought unexpected and seemingly limitless JOY & HAPPINESS!!!
As I learned the vast nutritional benefits of grass-fed animals including the bones, organs, fat, etc I began searching for nutrient-dense food on eatwild.com. As I contacted the farmers, I learned the significant cost reduction and benefits of purchasing whole animals!
Initially I had to invest in freezers, but they have become some of my most sacred belongings! I make sure to secure a position with the farmer well in advance (sometimes 2 years!) to purchase a whole animal and wait for their call. Then I speak to the butcher about my cutting options and wait again. As soon as the butcher calls, I drive to pick-up the meat!
And ever since, it has been "Goodbye Grocery Shopping & Hello Happiness!!!!"
